Andrea M. Baker graduated with her massage education in April of 2002 from the Midwest College of Cosmetology in Normal. She specializes in Swedish/Relaxation Massage, and is also a member of the International Massage Association. Andrea is currently employed at AFNI Corporation full time during the day so she is available during evening hours. She truly believes massage is a way to release the everyday stresses of life, and is looking forward to sharing her time helping others feel the same way!
Ann G. Blake is a full time licensed therapist and has been working in the field since 1994. She holds bachelors degree in psychology and sociology from Illinois State University. Ann's massage therapy education was obtained in Arizona where she studied modalities such as Swedish, Thailand Medical Massage, Sports, Pregnancy, Reflexology, and Deep Tissue. She is a registered member of the International Massage Association and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Ann has continued her education in neuromuscular therapy receiving recognition as a certified Precision Neuromuscular Therapist. When Ann isn't providing massage therapy to her clients she enjoys teaching yoga classes and personalized yoga sessions. We are lucky to have someone on our staff that is so knowledgeable, experienced, and provides such unique services!
Cynthia Keller graduated with a clinical massage degree from Soma Institute in January 2007. She also has a bachelors degree in accounting. She specializes in Trigger Point Release, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Sports Massage. Cyndi knows specific treatment plans for conditions such as whiplash, muscle strains, tendonitis and carpel tunnel syndrome. She believes that massage has many benefits and is looking forward to helping others.
Don Thorpe studied St. John's Neuromuscular Therapy through a 4-year apprenticeship under Tracy Jones. He specializes in Neuromuscular Therapy but also provides Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy. He is a member of the International Massage Association and a certified personal trainer. Heather Koerner is a Licensed Massage Therapist that graduated from Healthy Connections School of Massage Therapy in 2005 after working as a massage therapist on and off since 2001. She received her National Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in 2005. She has taught pathology at Healthy Connections. Heather is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. With a focus in both therapeutic massage and subtle energy work, Heather is able to assist you with your health and lifestyle goals.
Misty Grant is a licensed therapist who received training at Rainstar University's, College of Therapeutic Massage in Scottsdale, Arizona. She is trained in Swedish, Sports, Reflexology, Shiatsu and Assisted Stretching. Misty also currently attends Illinois State University with the long term goal of becoming a clinical psychiatrist for those with hearing disabilities. She is very personable and enjoys helping people improve their quality of life!
